Such a powerful, provocative and deeply moving documentary. All that I believe in both personally and professionally. This movement is gathering momentum now so I’m hopeful that there will soon be radical change across all sectors. I have been involved specifically in trauma recovery work since 2000 and I have seen a real shift going on over the last 26 years. We have a long way to go here in England but there are many more on board now sharpening the focus. Together we can be the change……Loved the song at the end of the film too. Would like to listen to those lyrics again. Louise Michelle Bombèr
I agree. I am in my final year of training in psychotherapeutic counselling, and watching this has only confirmed what I am discovering on my journey. I literally cried throughout, crying as it validated how I am thinking and feeling, crying for my young self that fought trauma, and for all those doing the same!! Thank you for bringing it to the forefront. You legend, Ton.
Thank you for using your childhood trauma to empower yourself to make this inspiring and profound documentary! As a trauma survivor on my own healing journey, I resonated with everything shared and also learnt new insights. My passion is in trauma although I still lack formal training and experience in helping others... my experience so far is through lived experience and recovery. I am still on this path and my hope one day is that I can turn everything that happened to me into last change in others lives, particularly children. I would love to get more involved in your work in some way.
